The night at UFC Vegas 111 couldn't have ended worse for Ismael Bonfim . The brother of the main event fighter, Gabriel Bonfim , not only failed to make weight the day before the event, but was brutally knocked out by Chris Padilla in the second round.
With the setback, Ismael suffered his fifth career defeat and is now going through a difficult phase, with two consecutive losses in the UFC. His opponent, Padilla, celebrated his fourth victory in the organization and achieved the ninth knockout of his professional career.

In the fight, Ismael Bonfim and Chris Padilla began the duel with a frank exchange of blows. The American relied on low kicks, undermining the Brazilian's movement and using counter elbows, while Ismael tried to maintain distance and look for explosive strikes. In one of the most intense moments of the first round, the Brazilian attempted a spinning elbow, but was caught and taken into a clinch.

With little action against the cage, Ismael managed to take down his opponent in the final seconds, and as he tried to get up, Padilla ended up receiving a strong uppercut.
In the second round, the strategies became clear. Padilla maintained his low kicks, which began to affect Ismael's balance, while the Brazilian tried to close the distance to apply combinations to the waistline and head.
In the final stretch of the round, Ismael attempted a takedown, but it was easily defended. Following that, the American locked in a clinch, connected with powerful elbows, took the Brazilian down, and finished the fight with an overwhelming ground and pound sequence.

Uros Medic didn't even give Muslim Salikhov a chance at UFC Vegas 111. The Serbian needed only one minute to knock out the veteran in one of the most impressive knockouts of the event.
With the victory, the fighter reached 12 wins in his career, his sixth in the UFC. Salikhov, on the other hand, at 41 years old, suffered his sixth defeat in 28 fights.
