However, it was the Portuguese fighter who managed to impose her game plan. With jabs, stance switching, low kicks, and a lot of movement, Jacqueline managed to hit the Brazilian without being touched. Even so, in the final stretch of the round, Mayra connected with a good low kick that made her rival limp, opening a glimmer of hope for the third round.
The final round began with Sheetara attempting a takedown, but after a failed single leg takedown, the Portuguese fighter regained control on her feet. Maintaining distance and control of the action, Jacqueline dominated until the final seconds, securing the victory by unanimous decision.
