Phil Davis marked his name in MMA history on Sunday night. The former UFC fighter, who made his debut in his new home, showed that he will make a lot of noise on the show. In the light heavyweight GP held at Bellator Dynamite, held in the early hours of this Sunday (20), in San Jose (USA). 'Mr. Wonderful' was almost perfect.

In the semifinal against Emanuel Newton, Davis landed a Kimura in the first round and advanced to the stage. In the grand final, Phil didn't give in to bad luck and knocked out Francis Carmont, who had left the reserve fight, also in the first round.
