P. Davis won the Bellator GP
Bellator Dynamite delivered on what it promised. The organization led by Scott Coker held a great event, with good MMA and kickboxing fights, an electrifying light heavyweight tournament, a title fight and even the announcement of the next fight for legend Fedor Fedor Emelianenko.

In the light heavyweight GP, the former UFC Phil Davis he submitted Emanuel Newton in the semifinals and knocked out Francis Carmont, who had left the reserve fight, to take the tournament title. In the main fight of the night, Liam McGeary proved his favoritism and submitted Tito Ortiz in the first round, defending the light heavyweight belt.

Phil Davis makes a perfect GP and takes the title
The story that Phil Davis he only had boring and tied fights in the UFC seems to have been left behind. In his Bellator debut, the light heavyweight was almost perfect. In the semifinal of the tournament, he was not aware of Emanuel Newton.
After taking the fight to the ground, he grabbed his rival's arm and landed a tight Kimura to submit the former Bellator champion 4m39s into the fight.
On the other side of the GP, King mo Lawal defeated Linton Vassell by decision. But as the WWE star was injured during the semi-final, he was unable to appear in the final and was replaced by Francis Carmont, former UFC fighter and training partner. Georges St Pierre.
In the decision, Davis showed that he can also win with striking. With a left blow he hit Carmont's chin. The Canadian went to the ground and “Mr. Wonderful” ended the contest on the ground.

After trying to lock in an armbar, well defended by Ortiz, Liam immediately went for the inverted triangle. Tito couldn't resist and ended up giving up in the first round.

In addition to the GP and the MMA belt fight, the light heavyweight division also includes kickboxing. The duel, valid for the Glory belt – the main stand-up fighting tournament in the world – Brazilian Saulo Cavalari defeated Zack Mwekassa and took the title.
The Congolese started the contest better, connecting good blows on the Brazilian. But from the second round onwards Saulo took control of the fight. Cavari even took down his rival in the second round, but then had a point deducted for forcing the clinch on his rival.
At the end of five three-minute rounds, Saulo Cavalari won the title in the majority decision of the judges (49×46, 49×46, 47×47).
