ONE Championship star Oumar Kane has recently been through some tough times. The Senegalese heavyweight champion of the Asian organization was involved in a serious car accident in the United Arab Emirates. The information was released by the company itself last Thursday (6).

At this time, there are no details regarding the extent of Reug Reug's injuries. However, ONE has committed to providing updates on the heavyweight champion's health and wished him a speedy and full recovery.

Due to what happened, the rematch between the Senegalese fighter and Anatoly Malykhin, scheduled to take place on November 16th in Japan, has been postponed. In the first fight, held in November 2024, Kane surprised everyone and defeated the Russian by split decision, taking the belt from him and also his undefeated record in MMA.
