MMA legend, B.J. Penn He got into trouble with the law again. Last Tuesday (4), the former UFC champion and member of the company's Hall of Fame was arrested by police in Hawaii (USA) as a result of an alleged third-degree assault. This was the sixth time the American has been arrested in 2025 alone.

According to the police report, the complaint was filed by a 45-year-old man. In it, the individual reported that, around 1 a.m., Penn assaulted him with a series of punches and kicks. Hours later, officers located the former fighter and arrested him.

Later, Penn was released by local police after posting bail of one thousand dollars (approximately R$ 5,4 at the current exchange rate). However, due to this new legal issue, the former UFC champion will have to appear in court on December 2nd.

In the current season, B.J. Penn He was previously arrested on allegations of abuse against a family member or household member and for violating a restraining order issued by his mother. She filed for a protective order due to abuse allegations stemming from constant disagreements between the two at home.

The former wrestler's mother accused him of extreme psychological abuse after he claimed his family had been killed and replaced by imposters. In one of their arguments, the woman detailed how Penn had grabbed her arms and pushed her against the car. In response, she screamed for help and called for assistance from her other son. Following this, BJ was arrested and instructed to stay away from his mother, but he constantly disregards this order.
