Norma Dumont is having a great run in MMA. At UFC Vegas 110, an event held last Saturday (1st), the athlete had a Brazilian duel against Ketlen Vieira and, after starting behind, managed to turn the tide and thus secured her sixth consecutive victory. With this record, the Minas Gerais native was rewarded in the ranking update released by the company this Tuesday (4).
Before fighting at UFC Vegas 110, Norma was already in the top 5 of the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg). The athlete was number four in the division. Now, by defeating the third-ranked fighter, 'The Immortal' has taken that spot. On the other hand, Ketlen, defeated in the event, swapped positions with her opponent, falling to fourth place in the category.

And it didn't stop there. With this important victory, Norma also entered the UFC's pound-for-pound ranking, which brings together the best fighters across all weight classes. In this select list, the Brazilian occupies 15th place.

Keep an eye on him! Steve Garcia shone at UFC Vegas 110. In the main event, the American knocked out David Onama in the first round, meaning he won his seventh consecutive fight, his sixth by knockout, and earned his fourth 'Performance of the Night' bonus.
In great form, the athlete climbed four positions in the featherweight ranking (up to 65,8 kg), becoming number eight. In this way, the striker left behind well-known MMA names such as Brian Ortega , Josh Emmett , Jean Silva , and Patrício Pitbull.
With the tough defeat, Onama dropped one place in the featherweight rankings. The Ugandan is now ranked 14th in the category.
