Jhony MC speaks out after defeat to Xamuel at Fight Music Show 7: 'I won'

Jhony MC has reasons to feel victorious after the Fight Music Show 7, held last Saturday (1). The rapper, known for his rap battles, faced Xamuel, his biggest rival, in a six-round duel. Despite being dominated and not posing much of a threat to his opponent, the artist found reasons to celebrate.

In a post on his Instagram stories, Jhony reflected on his journey leading up to the fight and highlighted that he considers his greatest victory to be the personal transformations he experienced during his preparation. According to him, even with the loss on points, the true triumph happened outside the ring.

“I won when I quit smoking cigarettes. I won when I quit drinking. I won when I woke up early every day to train. I won when I gave my family a better life. I won when I had two beautiful, healthy, and intelligent children! My opponent won the fight on points, but I won in life,” the rapper wrote.

At another point, Jhony expressed gratitude and acknowledged the support he received, as well as the mistakes he made along the way. The artist stated that, despite the criticism and jokes after the defeat, he is determined to start over and come back stronger.

"I have so many people to thank and so many people to apologize to! I didn't knock them down and I didn't fall! I know what hell it's going to be like from now on, but I'm going to start over again and come back stronger," declared Jhony MC.
