David Brito

Davi Brito's story is one of the best known to the Brazilian public in 2024. Born in Salvador, the 23-year-old from Bahia faced difficulties from an early age. He started working at age 8 selling water and sweets on buses, and later worked as a rideshare driver. His life changed when he entered and won Big Brother Brasil 24, with 60,52% of the votes, becoming one of the most popular champions in the program's history.
After the reality show, Davi released the documentary Davi, Um Cara Comum da Bahia (Davi, An Ordinary Guy from Bahia), on Globoplay, and began investing part of his R$ 3 million prize in real estate. He also faced highs and lows: public controversies, health problems, and episodes of drunkenness. In 2025, he announced a new personal phase, saying he had been sober for a month and focused on "changing his life."
Now, the former Big Brother Brazil contestant is trying for a fresh start in the ring. In a press conference, he provoked his rival Sacha Bali:
"I'm training hard. He'll see what the strength of Bahia is all about," Davi said, in a challenging tone.
The statement was followed by pushing and insults during the face-off, which increased tension and divided opinions on social media.
Sasha Bali

At 44 years old, Sacha Bali is an actor and director who graduated from PUC-Rio and became nationally known after winning A Fazenda 16 in 2024. Before his fame on TV, he worked as a cameraman for Globo and acted in soap operas such as Bicho do Mato, Os Mutantes, and Salve Jorge.
Since being announced for the event, Sacha has taken his preparation seriously: he has lost about 8 kg, cut out alcohol and cigarettes, and has been training up to three times a day.
The rivalry between the two has intensified in recent weeks. During the press conference, Davi pushed Sacha and used offensive terms, which generated criticism and strong repercussions on social media.
Rogério Minotouro

Another prominent presence is Rogério “Minotouro” Nogueira, former MMA fighter and idol of national sport. The Bahian, twin brother of Rodrigo Minotauro, has a long history in the UFC octagon, having had 13 fights.
In amateur boxing, he won a bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games. Currently, he leads social projects and the Team Nogueira team, one of the largest gym chains in the country.
Jhony MC

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Jhony grew up surrounded by street rap. He became known for his memorable performances in Batalha da Aldeia and Batalha do Tanque, where his sharp rhymes and firm stance earned him respect.
For him, being an MC goes far beyond rhyming: it's about talking about experience, resistance, and struggle. "Being an MC is carrying the city. It's talking about the street corners, the pain, and the people," he often says.
His rap is marked by lyrics of denunciation, as in the track "FAB," released in 2020. "But now everything has changed, it's rare for a player to come out of the favela. But it's not because of talent, it's because the police killed them."
When he saw the new generation adopting a different aesthetic—more colorful, performative, and distant from battles—Jhony reacted. In his cypher “Jhony invites 9,” he released verses that many understood as a response to Xamuel.
“All they have is laziness, ego, painted nails and eyeliner (…). Really, makeup is for whoever wants it, but rap isn’t for you,” he exclaimed.
Shamuel

From Porto Alegre to the rest of the country, Xamuel represents the opposite of rigidity. Young, bold, and provocative, he sees rap as a space for total expression. His colorful style and use of makeup are part of the identity he has built on stage and on social media. In 2023, he starred in a commercial for the cosmetics brand Luna Beauty, in which he appeared in makeup and rapped.
"Makeup is for anyone who wants it (Wait, isn't that a woman's thing?)".
The campaign, which celebrated freedom and diversity, caused a strong reaction. Xamuel, however, remained firm in his message: “Some people say that up to this point you're a rapper, but if you go beyond that point you're not anymore. I believe that culture is not about segregation, it's about freedom and respect,” he stated in an interview with Billboard Brazil.
