Rampage Jackson, who was a victim of Jon Jones when he faced the former UFC champion, took advantage of the controversy between Tom Aspinall and Ciryl Gane to make a controversial statement about his tormentor. Besides complaining about the knee kicks he received from his compatriot during the fight, the veteran claimed that 'Bones' trains ways to use eye gouging in fights.
Highlighting Jones' high fight IQ, Rampage explained that the legend's methodical practice reaches levels where illegal strikes are added to his arsenal against opponents placed before him.

“ Jon Jones is the most methodical fighter to ever step into the UFC. His mind is totally different from ours. He knows exactly what he’s doing when he does it. I know he trains that (eye pokes). I know that’s his defense mechanism. When you go after him, he pokes your eyes. He does it on purpose. He’s given interviews saying he does it on purpose,” Rampage stated on the JAXXON Podcast.
Rampage isn't the first to accuse Jones of cheating in fights. The former champion has a history of fight warnings for stretching his fingers while trying to control distance from his opponent using his long reach. So far, 'Bones' hasn't commented on the accusation.
