One of the athletes most anticipated by fans to perform at UFC 321, Walter Walker almost had the fight end in a tragic way, despite the great victory over Louie Sutherland. Winner by submission, the Brazilian decided to reveal the injury he suffered, which ended up causing a fracture in his tibia.
Even before applying the takedown, which would have marked the end of the fight, Walker was hit by a hard kick from his rival and ended up fracturing his bone. An x-ray posted by the Brazilian on social media reveals the damage suffered by the heavyweight. According to the Rio native, the doctor who treated him estimated his recovery time to be five to six weeks.

"I was going to keep it a secret, guys. If you saw the live stream today, I was in a bad mood because my leg is hurting so much, but they asked me to reveal it, so there you have it: five, six weeks of tough recovery. The first week is the hardest, but I'm telling you, it's worth it. A life worth living," Valter declared on his official Instagram account.
