Sergio Moraes and Edilberto Crocotá submit at Jungle Fight 18

Recently, at the Ginásio do Pacaembu, in São Paulo, the Jungle Fight 18. Among the fights on the show, Edilberto Crocotá proved his good form and submitted karateka Pedro Iriê with a guillotine, in just over two minutes of fighting. After the fight, the Bahian took the opportunity to provoke the São Paulo public, who were rooting for his opponent.



“Bahia bought São Paulo, I’m in charge here”, said the black belt from Rodrigo Minotauro, to boos.



In the main fight of the night, the São Paulo public can celebrate. Serginho Moraes recovered from the defeat suffered in Jungle Fight 15 and dominated the entire fight against Etoube Manuelo. Without wasting time, the Alliance black belt took the fight to the ground and used his jiu-jitsu to dominate the positions and reach and end the fight with a beautiful kimura in the first round.

– Edilberto Crocotá (Champion) submitted Pedro Iriê (Ichigueki) with a guillotine choke in 1R;
- Peter Munhoz (Gibi Thai) defeated Pablo Alfonso (MMA Master Cuba América) via unanimous decision by the judges;
– Claudio Godoy (Center Fight) knocked out Fernando “Zopilote” Duany (Fight Club – Peru) in 1R;
- Renato Moicano (Constrictor Team) submitted Marcos de Almeida (ASLE) with a rear naked choke in 3R;
– Erick Becker submitted Douglas Bertazini (Miguel Repanas) with a rear naked choke in 3R;
– Gil de Freitas (Barbosa JJ Team) submitted Junior “Killer” (Fight Sports) with an armbar in 2R;

Fight for the Brazilian Low Kicks title:
– Hernani Perpétuo (RJ) knocked out Marcelo Amaral (SP) in 3R
