Alex Poatan reacts to the frustrating final between Aspinall and Gane and sends a message to the UFC heavyweights

The light heavyweight champion showed interest in moving up a weight class and returned to challenge Jon Jones after the controversial outcome of UFC 321.

Alex Poatán took advantage of the frustrating end of the duel between Tom aspinall e Cyryl Gane to send a message. Although he wasn't in action in the main fight of the no UFC 321held this Saturday (25), the heavyweight belt dispute (up to 120,2kg), which ended without a result, could directly influence the next step of the Pataxó, who used the moment to reinforce his desire to fight with Jon Jones.

In a video published on his YouTube channel, Alex Poatán reacted to the end of the fight and did not hide his dissatisfaction with the outcome. In the caption, the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) reinforced his desire to move up a weight class and face Jon Jones in a fight that he said would make the heavyweight division “great again.”

“Let’s make the heavyweight division great again,” he wrote Alex Poatán with the 'stone face' emoji, which is frequently used to reference him, alongside a bones emoji, in reference to his nickname 'Bones'. This wasn't the first time Alex Poatán challenged Jon Jones. The Brazilian had already mentioned the former champion's name after his victory over Magomed Ankalayev No. UFC 320However, there was no response, as 'Bones' is going through a grieving process after the loss of his brother Arthur Jones, a former NFL player.
