Walter Walker continues to impress in the octagon. This Saturday (25), in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the Brazilian took no notice of the debutant Louie Sutherland on the preliminary card of UFC 321 and finished in just over a minute of fighting. In this way, the athlete won one of the 'Performance of the Night' bonuses, taking home a check for $50 (approximately R$270 at the current exchange rate).

Besides Walter, Quillan Salkilld also earned a performance bonus. The fight Ludovit Klein x Mateusz Rebecki was voted the best of the show. The UFC announced the awards shortly after the event. Walker delivered on his pre-fight promise. A jiu-jitsu specialist, the athlete waited for the right moment to take down the Englishman and displayed his technique on the ground, applying another heel hook.

This was the fighter's fourth consecutive UFC victory, all by the same method and in the first round. Thus, Valter continues his rapid progress at heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) and shows that he can be a threat to the top contenders in the division.

In the last fight of the preliminary card, Quillan Salkilld shone in the octagon. The Australian justified his status as a promising lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) and delivered a brutal knockout to Nasrat Haqparast at the start of the first round. With a high kick, the athlete simply knocked out the Moroccan, who fell to the cage and took a while to recover. This was the fighter's third victory in the company, and he doesn't know what it's like to lose there.

To no one's surprise, the fight of the night was the violent and bloody battle between Ludovit Klein e Mateusz Rebecki, also at lightweight. In the first two rounds, Klein, more technical in his striking, had a clear advantage and constantly rocked the Pole. However, Rebecki refused to give up and, accustomed to fighting battles, punished the Slovak on the ground.

With brutal ground and pound, the athlete fought back and nearly tied the fight. Ultimately, Klein prevailed over Rebecki by majority decision, but left the fight with a broken leg. For the fight, each fighter took home $50.
