In the final fight of the UFC 321 preliminary card, Salkilld faced Haqparast. The Australian began the fight trying to take the fight to the ground, but within the first minute, the Afghan blocked three takedowns. Confident in his defense, Nasrat began to press on the feet and seek to exchange, but was surprised: halfway through the first round, Salkilld feinted another takedown, landed a precise jab, and finished the fight with a devastating high kick.
With the triumph, Quinlan Salkilld reached the 10th career victory mark, his third in the UFC. Nasrat Haqparast suffered his sixth defeat and saw his five-game winning streak come to an end.
