Quinllan Salkilld put an end to the plans of Renato Moicano. Recently, the Brazilian had stated that Nasrat Haqparast would defeat the Australian and challenge him next. However, a devastating high kick changed the course of history.

In the last fight of the preliminary card of the UFC 321Salkilld faced Haqparast. The Australian started the fight trying to take it to the ground, but within the first minute, the Afghan defended three takedown attempts. Confident in his defense, Nasrat began to pressure on his feet and look for an exchange of blows, but was surprised: halfway through the first round, Salkilld feinted another takedown, landed a precise jab, and finished the fight with a devastating high kick.
With the triumph, Quinlan Salkilld reached the 10th career victory mark, his third in the UFC. Nasrat Haqparast suffered his sixth defeat and saw his five-game winning streak come to an end.
