Walter Walker defended himself well on his feet and went for a grappling fight.

At a steady pace, Walker moved calmly and landed several kicks to the Scot's waistline and front leg, who in turn attacked with powerful overhands. After using his reach to block and evade the punches, the Brazilian secured a takedown against the fence and transitioned to a heel hook a few seconds later. Sutherland attempted a defense but was quickly forced to tap out.

In the interview with Daniel Cormier Inside the Octagon, the Rio native drew attention with his irreverence when he dedicated his recent victories to Brazil and Russia. Finally, he challenged the Egyptian Hamdy Abdelwahab, in addition to criticizing the Olympic wrestler's performance against Chris Barnett earlier.

In a duel valid for the featherweight category (up to 65,7 kg), Nathaniel Wood used experience to win Jose Delgado by unanimous decision and achieve his third consecutive victory in the Ultimate, overcoming the favoritism of the young American, who in turn suffered his first loss in the UFC and his second as a professional fighter. He had not been defeated since 2023.

Without much study, the two fighters began the fight intensely with strong exchanges of punches and kicks. Aggressive as usual, Delgado produced a spectacular moment by taking his opponent to the ground with a spinning back fist, in addition to landing more than 40 blows on the Englishman. With his nose injured, Wood returned the favor by taking the American to knockdown briefly.

The pace of the fight slowed in the later rounds, but Delgado maintained his movement and unpredictability. He hit his opponent with powerful kicks to the waistline, as well as landing solid punch combinations. In contrast, Wood began to dominate the center of the octagon and land powerful punches. In the midst of this, the American still sought to clinch the fight late in the third round, sealing his two-round victory in the eyes of all the judges.
