Master Luiz Alves
The fighting world is in mourning. Master Luiz Alves, president of the Brazilian Muay Thai Confederation and coach of the Nogueira brothers, passed away on Friday night.

Luiz Alves suffered a stroke on January 26th. Mestre remained in an induced coma for several weeks at Santa Terezinha hospital, in Tijuca and showed improvements in the last few days, coming out of the induced coma, so the news of his death took the family and the fighting world by surprise.
