Aspinall, Gane, Virna and Mackenzie make weight and confirm title fights at UFC 321

Everything is ready for the grand and long-awaited UFC 321In the early hours of this Friday (24), the athletes scheduled for the event this Saturday (25) went through the challenge against the scale. Mainstays of the card, Tom aspinall, Cyryl Gane, Virna jandiroba e Mackenzie dern were successful in measuring weight and confirmed title disputes in the heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) and strawweight (up to 52,1 kg), respectively.

Heading into his first title defense in his reign, Aspinall showed no difficulty in cutting weight, weighing in at 115,6 kg (254 lb), heavier than the title challenger, who weighed in at 112,2 kg (244 lb). In the penultimate fight of the event, Jandiroba and Mackenzie both weighed in at the strawweight title limit of 52,1 kg (112.1 lb).

Three other fighters who will represent the green and yellow flag in the Octagon also had great success when they stepped on the scales. The first to appear at the event, Jacqueline Amorim weighed 52,6 kg, using pound tolerance. Walter Walker presented himself in a confident and relaxed manner to weigh in at 110,6kg and be the only male representative on the main card, Jailton Malhadinho weighed 107,5 kg, for the biggest duel of his career so far.

Playing in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg), Azamat Maksum weighed over the permitted limit (58,1 kg) and will pass on 30% of his purse to his rival. Mitch Raposo, which weighed 56,9 kg.

In the featherweight category (up to 65,7 kg), José Miguel Delgado also failed in the commitment and measured 66,6 kg, being fined 20% of the bag, which was passed to the opponent Nathaniel Wood (66,2kg.).
