Currently ranked 11th in the lightweight rankings and looking to return to winning ways after two consecutive setbacks, Renato Moicano appears to have changed his mindset about his next steps in the organization. Previously avoiding facing unranked prospects for his redemption fight, the Brazilian is now willing to face whoever the UFC sends.

Keeping an eye on the presentation of Nasrat Haqparast, which takes place this Saturday (25), at UFC 321, Moicano admitted that he will accept a potential challenge made by the fighter in case of victory. Directly from Afghanistan, the lightweight talent (up to 70,3 kg.) faces Quillan Salkilld.

“You know what I think? Nasrat (Haqparast) will win and then he will challenge me to fight and I will accept that,” Moicano said during the recording of Show Me the Money Podcast.

Riding a five-fight winning streak in the organization, Nasrat is a lightweight veteran and was signed in 2017. Since then, the Afghan has only lost to names like Marcin Held, in his debut, Drew dober, Dan Hooker and finally Bobby Green. Known as the 'twin brother' of Kelvin Gastelum, Haqparast has an aggressive style in his performances in the octagon.

On the other hand, Moicano, 36, is looking to get closer to the belt after being defeated by Islam makhachev e Beneil Dariush.
