Gilbert Durinho has a strong opinion about fighters who quit mid-fight. In the main event of UFC Vancouver, held last Saturday (18), Ridder's Reinier give up of the duel in the interval between the fourth and fifth round, giving the victory to Brendan allen, an attitude that generated criticism from fans and the media. Ridder's Reinier He debuted in the UFC in November 2024 and, in his first year in the organization, he accumulated four victories, three of them by quick victory and one by split decision over the former champion Robert whittaker. The Dutchman saw his good form come to an end when he was surpassed by Brendan allen, in a duel that could guarantee his chance to fight for the middleweight belt (up to 83,9 kg).
