“Honestly, it attracts me like any other fight. If the UFC offers it, I accept it; if not, I don’t accept it,” Aspinall said during an interview with New York Post Sports.

Despite the considerations made by the reporter during his conversation with Aspinall, Poatan's chance of fighting for the heavyweight title next has not yet been officially declared. So far, the Brazilian's only expression of interest has been his desire to face Jon Jones at UFC Casa Branca, in June 2026. The São Paulo native also highlighted his interest in 'super fights', but did not mention the title as his preferred target.
