Brandon Allen took advantage of the opportunity he had in UFC Vancouver. Substitute for anthony hernandez, the athlete faced Reinier DeRidder in the main fight of this Saturday's event (18), in Canada, and surprised. The main fight of UFC Vancouver pitted two jiu-jitsu experts against each other, and indeed, it thrived on the ground. In the first round, De Ridder was superior and gave the American no chance, controlling him on the ground and landing punches and elbows.

In the third and fourth rounds, Allen repeated the strategy, as De Ridder appeared frail, tired, with facial bleeding and swelling. The American's punishment was so severe that the Dutchman informed his team that he was unwell to continue the fight. Thus, the referee ended the fight, due to his corner's withdrawal.
