Djorden and Barlow had a competitive first round. The Brazilian, despite knowing the American's knockout power, showed quality striking and evened the score.
The two fighters engaged in one of the best rounds of the year in the UFC. Djorden felt a blow from Barlow and nearly ended up knocked out, but he showed heart, turned the situation around, and the two exchanged heavy punches standing up and at close range. It seemed like one of them would go down at any moment, but that didn't happen.
The high pace continued in the third round. With his heart in his chest, Djorden charged forward, struck Barlow in the face, and landed on top. The Brazilian capitalized on his position, invested in ground and pound, and hurt the American. The fight remained close, with the fighters exchanging blows à la Max Holloway x Justin gaethjeWhat a fight!
