Caio Borralho is eyeing opportunities to return to the UFC octagon. The Brazilian, who was defeated by Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Paris in September 2025, made himself available to fight at UFC 323 in December. However, after being left out of Dana White's announcements for that date, the Brazilian quickly recalculated his route and went for a 'plan B'.

In a post on X, Caio Borralho shared information that the UFC is planning an event in Australia in early 2026 and took the opportunity to suggest a fight against Robert Whittaker.

Caio had to step into the Contender Series octagon twice in the 2021 season to secure his UFC contract. The Brazilian debuted with the organization in April 2022 and, in three years, has accumulated seven wins and no losses.
However, in a duel that would define the number one challenger in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), the “Nerd” ended up defeated by unanimous decision to Nassourdine Imavov.
