New chance against a top-5
With the triumphs over Alexander Romanov and Serghei Spivac, Jailton Malhadinho received a new chance from the UFC to test himself against a top-5 heavyweight. In 2024, the Brazilian even surprised Curtis blaydes with his takedowns, but ended up knocked out in the second round, suffering his first loss in the organization. Currently, the athlete is ranked fifth in the division.
