Alexandre pantoja has already confirmed his opponent for his next title defense. The current flyweight champion (up to 56,7 kg) will face the promising Joshua Van in the co-main event of UFC 323, scheduled for December 6. The announcement was made by Ultimate president Dana White on his social media.
With a solid professional MMA career, Pantoja has 30 wins and five losses, 12 of which were by submission and eight by knockout. As champion, he has defeated prominent names such as Brandon royval, Steve Erceg, Kai Asakura e Kai Kara France, and occupies the fifth position pound for pound in the Ultimate.

On the other side, Joshua Van, just 23 years old, will be fighting for his first title. The young American built his way to the title by accepting a last-minute fight against Brandon royval, winning the judges' decision and earning the 'Fight of the Night' award. Van has 15 wins and two losses in his career.
UFC 323 will have as its main fight the duel for the bantamweight title (up to 61,2 kg) between Merab Dvalishvili e Petr yan, Henry Cejudo e Payton Talbott were confirmed by president Dana White for the card, while the former champion Jan Blachowicz face Bogdan Guskov.
