A video posted on the 'UFC Español' social media showed the fighters' reactions when Mateusz Gamrot tapped out, securing Charles do Bronx 's victory . In the footage, athletes like Caio Borralho and Alex Poatan each show their happiness with the Brazilian's triumph in their own way. However, fans noticed Paulo Borrachinha having a rather curious reaction in the background (watch below).

With his victory over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Rio, Charles Oliveira reached 36 career wins and extended his record as the UFC's all-time leading finisher with 17 submission victories. Furthermore, the Brazilian also holds the record for most submissions in the event's history, now totaling 21 wins by stoppage.

Borrachinha and the controversies involving Charles do Bronx at UFC Rio

This isn't the first time Borrachinha's name has been linked to some controversy involving Charles do Bronx at UFC Rio. After Rafael Fiziev 's injury , who was supposed to face Charles on the Rio card, the Minas Gerais native reacted ironically to the possibility of the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) withdrawing from the event and missing out on the card.

In response to a fan's post on 'X' (formerly Twitter), Borrachinha mocked Charles do Bronx 's delay in accepting Mateusz Gamrot and even joked about the possibility of the event being canceled.

In another comment, the Minas Gerais native also mocked the fans who made an effort to watch the fight in Rio de Janeiro and made an ironic appeal for the former champion to accept his new opponent.
