Charles do Bronx admits he deviated from his strategy in his victory over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Rio: 'I was staring'

After submitting the Polish fighter in the main event of UFC Rio, the former champion revealed that he almost deviated from his game plan by trying to end the fight prematurely.

"We knew it would be a tough (first) round because he's coming in strong. I got looked at on the takedown and tried to catch him right away, but I recovered, stayed calm, without despair, so I could catch him... and when I got his back, I was home.
