UFC Rio was not a good event for Vincent Luque. At the show held this Saturday (11), the Brazilian was dominated by Joel Alvarez, suffering his second consecutive defeat, and also suffered an unpleasant eye injury.

In fact, during the fight, Vicente informed the referee that Joel had illegally poked him in the eye and even crouched in the octagon. However, the referee, upon stopping the fight and checking the replay, confirmed that the Spaniard's attack was legal. Despite the pain in his eye area, the Brazilian, showing his determination, decided to stay in the fight, but was unable to deal with his opponent and seek a comeback.
