Charles do Bronx's rival recalls the Brazilian's negative history and reinforces confidence for UFC Rio: 'He was finished nine times'

Mateusz gamrot see Charles of the Bronx as a golden opportunity to reach the UFC's top 5. The Polish fighter, ranked eighth in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), faces the Brazilian in the main fight of UFC Rio, scheduled for next Saturday (11). Despite having accepted the fight with only three weeks' notice, Gamrot believes that there are flaws in Charles' game that could favor him in the confrontation.

In an interview with 'MMA Junkie,' Gamrot recalled that Charles has already been defeated nine times by the fast lane in the UFC. Given his rival's poor track record, the Pole believes he can capitalize on the Brazilian's flaws, especially on the ground.

"He's been finished almost nine times in the UFC, so I see holes in his ground game... Submission, knockout, maybe five rounds, we'll see. Charles has never fought five rounds, so we'll see how his conditioning is. But I know for sure that my hand will be raised in the end," he said. Mateusz gamrot.
