Former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) and determined to once again reach the position of king of the category, Charles of the Bronx has a crucial fight scheduled for this Saturday (11), where he faces Mateusz gamrot at UFC Rio. Despite not having a provocative style, the Brazilian didn't hesitate to name the ideal name for his next appearance, should he triumph in the Marvelous City.
In addition to the linear belt, Charles shows interest in solidifying his status as the 'toughest' in the category. Seeking revenge on Max Holloway, the fighter believes that the meeting with the American could give him the opportunity to meet the lightweight champion again.

Rivals in 2015, Do Bronx and Holloway faced off, and the outcome was ultimately negative for the Brazilian. Suffering a shoulder injury, Chute Boxe athlete Diego Lima finally succumbed and withdrew from the fight.
Willing to grant a rematch and put his BMF belt on the line, the Hawaiian has already opened the door and took the opportunity to provoke him, questioning whether the injury was really serious enough to require the fight to be interrupted.
