The ease with which Alex Poatan dispatched Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320, held last Saturday (4), caught the attention of fans and experts. The Brazilian showed no mercy to the Russian, went on the attack and knocked out his rival in just 80 seconds of fighting. The success of the Pataxó was so great that Glover Teixeira , his main coach, began to replicate the knockout movements as an activity for other students at the academy.

In a video posted to his Instagram stories, Glover showed a training session at Teixeira MMA & Fitness, where Poatan prepares for his fights. In the footage, one group of athletes simulates the overhand that knocked Ankalaev down on the heavy bag, while another group replicates the elbows that ended the fight in the Brazilian's favor.
The victory over Ankalaev marked Poatan's 13th career win in MMA, his fifth in title fights, his eighth knockout in the UFC, and his sixth victory over a former champion of the world's largest MMA organization.
