The rivalry between Alex Poatán e Magomed Ankalayev It may have ended inside the octagon, but it still generates taunts behind the scenes. After the UFC 320, held last Saturday (4), the Brazilian coach, Glover Teixeira, reacted with irony to the suggestion of a trilogy between the light heavyweights.
The idea came from Ankalaev's coach, who pointed to Glover with the suggestion of a third meeting between the fighters in the future, even after the lightning knockout that decreed Poatan's regaining of the belt.

In a good-natured tone, Glover responded symbolically, sending a 'kiss' to the Russian's staff, and denying the possibility. The gesture quickly went viral on social media among the Brazilian's fans.
A longtime teammate and mentor of Alex Pereira, Glover closely followed the champion's preparations and was one of the most emotional about the victory. The former UFC champion had already celebrated his knockout of Ankalaev effusively.
With the victory, Poatan became the first fighter since Jon Jones to regain the light heavyweight belt and cemented his place as one of the best in the division's history. Apparently, this was his last fight against Ankalaev.
