O Jungle Fight 80, held this Saturday (22), at the Morumbi gym, in São Paulo, was a true show inside and outside the fighting area. With ex-BBB Vanessa Mesquita as ring girl, the fighters did not disappoint and 13 of the 14 duels ended with a knockout or submission.

In the main fight of the night, valid for the flyweight belt (under 57kg), Bruno “The Talent” from Bahia defeated challenger Zé Reborn, from Alagoas, and remained at the top of the category.

The confrontation was balanced in the first round until, towards the end of the round, Bruno landed a right cross that left Reborn without direction. Taking advantage of the fact that his opponent felt the hard blow, “The Talent” connected a sequence of direct strikes that took Zé Reborn to the ground, practically obliterated. End of the fight with a beautiful knockout from Bruno “The Talent”.

“I need to keep training. Being a champion is difficult, but staying at the top is even more difficult. It's an honor to continue with this belt Jungle Fight. This is the jungle, you either kill or die and if you tie up the fight won't come back, that's why I trained to put on a show”, said Bruno.

André Lobato submits and wins middleweight belt

The co-main event was worth the middleweight belt and started with André Lobato at a blistering pace. In his first blow, the athlete from Belém do Pará landed a very hard straight left that took Hoffmann to the canvas. With the jiu-jitsu aligned, Lobato needed just 44 seconds to adjust the ankle lock that forced the gaucho to give three taps. End of conversation and Belém once again has a champion of the biggest MMA event in Latin America. Beautiful performance by Lobato!

Quemuel Ottoni wins quickly

The international struggle of Jungle Fight 80 was fast. Better for the Brazilian, who with an extensive repertoire of high and low kicks, managed the knockout when the experienced Peruvian Jackson Mora collapsed after feeling his waist just 1 minute and 21 seconds into the first round. Brilliant performance from the athlete from São Paulo, who asked for an opportunity to compete for the middleweight belt.

Debora Dias is punished but gets the knockout

For those who still insist that women are the “weaker sex”, the women's fight on the card showed the opposite. With a lot of energy and open striking, Natasha Frazão punished Debora Dias who, once again, proved to be a very tough athlete. Needing a knockout or submission due to the loss of two points for not making weight the day before, Debora Dias achieved a beautiful comeback in the first round and, working well with ground and pound, achieved a beautiful technical knockout.
