In the main fight UFC 313, the Brazilian was unable to impose his game and ended up being defeated by unanimous decision of the judges (48-47, 48-47, 49-46).

Now, to regain the belt, Poatan needs to overcome the Russian's favoritism among bookmakers. Magomed Ankalayev appears with odds of 1,38, which means low investment risk, while Poatan has odds of 3,15, offering a return of more than three times the amount bet.
