There are just a few hours left before he steps into the octagon against Magomed Ankalayev for the second time with the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg) on the line in the main event of UFC 320, Alex Poatán found a curious way to provoke the Russian right after the two participated in the pre-event press conference and had a very tense face-off last Friday (2). This time, in addition to launching an indirect message to his rival, the Brazilian took the opportunity to take a dig at Ali Abdelaziz, the champion's manager.

Without feeling the need to write something to strengthen the message, the São Paulo native shared it on his stories from Instagram an image created by a designer in which the Russian was controlled by Abdelaziz, so that the businessman used him as a puppet.

The image alludes to rumors that the businessman was the person in control of Ankalaev's social media and that, as such, he was the one who recently started provoking the Brazilian with posts on X (formerly Twitter) in the months leading up to the announcement of the rematch.
What Alex Pereira said to Ankalaev:
“I don't want to go back to the tire shop.”

Poatan has already experienced important revenge in the past
In addition to having experienced rivalries in kickboxing with Cesar Almeida and Youri Belgaroui, without a doubt the Brazilian's main opponent was Israel adesanya. In total, they faced each other four times in the ring and the octagon. Poatan fared better, with three wins and only one loss. Now in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg), he seeks revenge for the defeat suffered in UFC 313 to win back the UFC belt.
