It's no secret that Alex Poatán is hungry for a fight and willing to get even Magomed Ankalayev, campeão meio-pesado (até 93 kg), na revanche que lidera o UFC 320, evento deste sábado (4), em Las Vegas (EUA). Inclusive, o brasileiro até revelou como seria o cenário ideal para a sua consagração.
In an interview with 'TNT Sports,' the renowned striker, when projecting what he would like to see happen in the second fight against the Russian, was clear and emphasized: domination. In the first meeting, which took place in March, Ankalaev defeated the Brazilian by unanimous decision, in a duel that was more tense than exciting.
However, Poatan disagreed with the result, claiming he wasn't 100% fit and criticizing his opponent's strategy. Since a portion of the fans also saw the Brazilian's victory, the athlete emphasized that his perfect victory wouldn't come by knockout, but rather through an impeccable performance throughout the five rounds to leave no doubt as to his superiority.
"If I could choose, I'd like to have a fight where I dominate. For example, not have what happened in the last fight: 'Oh, this guy or that guy won.' Leave no doubt. So, in a perfect world for me, I would win, five rounds, dominating him, until there was no doubt that I won," said the former UFC champion.
Poatan's main victories
