Alex Poatán is focused on the rematch against Magomed Ankalayev, scheduled for this Saturday (4), in Las Vegas (USA), but remains attentive to what happens in MMA and, mainly, to what is said about him. So much so that the Brazilian did not let it go and tried to respond to a dig from Tom aspinall.
Recently, the heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg) stated that the renowned striker received special treatment from the company, namely, fights tailored to his style. Upon learning of the Englishman's provocation, Poatan vehemently denied any help from the organization. Finding Aspinall's statement strange, the athlete emphasized that he had considerable merit in achieving such success in MMA coming from a completely different sport.

So, if you put the worst UFC fighter to fight me in my weight class, that would be a disadvantage for me. So, I can’t understand it,” said the Brazilian at the UFC media day. UFC 320.
