Long time present in Ultimate, Tom aspinall shows that even though he was two divisions above, he always kept an eye on the trajectory of Alex Poatán. After having already declared interest in facing the Brazilian, the heavyweight champion (up to 1202,2 kg) once again heated up the rivalry in a statement given about his rival's rematch against Magomed Ankalayev, which takes place this Saturday (04), at UFC 320.
In addition to pointing out the dangerous style that the Russian brings to Poatan, Aspinall argued that the former champion had an easier path until he was put in front of Ankalaev in the octagon.

Defeated by unanimous decision in the first meeting, Poatan managed to land only 11 significant strikes to his opponent's head, a fact that caught the attention of fans and experts who had already witnessed the Brazilian's great success in the stand-up fight. On that occasion, however, the São Paulo native successfully defended 12 takedown attempts from Ankalaev.
Protagonists of UFC 320Poatan and Ankalaev face each other again this Saturday (04), for the light heavyweight belt. Currently, the Brazilian is considered a big underdog for the confrontation.
