Part of the combat sports community was shocked to watch the fight between the teams Acelino Popo e Wanderlei Silva last Saturday (27), in São Paulo, but Chael Sonnen had the opposite reaction. The American took advantage of the savagery that occurred at the end of the Spaten Fight Night 2 event to mock the MMA icon, one of his rivals.
On that occasion, after the boxing match ended, Crazy Dog, who lost to Popó via disqualification, ended up being brutally knocked out by Rafael Freitas, son of the legend of the noble art. Since Wand's attacker was outside the ring, wearing a suit and holding one of his father's belts, Sonnen didn't hesitate to use his wit to attack his rival.

Aggression and victory
Chael Sonnen e Wanderlei Silva They're old acquaintances. In 2013, the veterans hosted the third season of the UFC reality show The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3. On the show, the American and the Brazilian argued constantly, and one of the arguments resulted in a fight. In it, the wrestler was attacked by André Dida, Cachorro Louco's friend and coach.
In 2017, the fight between the rivals finally took place. For Bellator, Sonnen used wrestling to control Wanderlei and won by unanimous decision.
