Carlos Ulberg took advantage of the spotlight in the main fight of UFC Perth. This Saturday (27), in Australia, the New Zealander needed just one round to knock out Dominick reyesKnown for being a technical striker, the athlete showed off all his striking skills and calmly waited for the right moment to seal the victory.

The fight started out well-planned, but Ulberg, from the moment he took the reins, was dominant. So much so that Reyes couldn't find the New Zealander in the octagon. Quickly, Reyes' friend and training partner Israel adesanya landed clean jabs and straight punches to the face of the former light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) title challenger.

With the veteran stunned and exposed, Ulberg capitalized on the gap in his defense. The New Zealander took Reyes to the ground with a straight right to his face and ended the fight with a solid ground-and-pound. The athlete now has nine consecutive wins and is on the verge of a title shot.
