Hebert Conceição shows superiority and wins by unanimous decision

Hebert Conceição began the fight by taking center stage, while Yamaguchi Falcão relied on movement and speed. Halfway through the first round, the Bahian landed strikes to the waistline that pushed his opponent against the ropes, and in the final stretch, he increased his attacking intensity, closing the round with an advantage.

In the second round, Hebert returned more aggressively and, within the first minute, rocked Yamaguchi. His opponent tried to respond in the final part of the round, but the Bahian dodged well and continued to provoke. The third round began at a more measured pace, with Conceição giving way. Yamaguchi, however, was unable to capitalize. In the final minute, Luiz Dórea's student accelerated again and, with a well-placed cross, opened a cut on his opponent's nose.

In the fourth period, Hebert adopted a left-handed stance and continued to frustrate Yamaguchi with his dodges. Near the end, he landed another cross, but his opponent reacted by shaking his head in resistance, before the two exchanged a gesture of fair play.

The fifth round was marked by more open exchanges, with plenty of dodging and close-range strikes. However, the excessive provocation prompted the referee to call both fighters to account. In the sixth round, Hebert returned to attacking the opponent. Tired, Yamaguchi sought heavy counterattacks and landed two solid strikes, one of which sent the Bahian to the ground, but only due to imbalance, without the referee counting.

The seventh round brought even more intensity. The two men exchanged blows at close range, but it was Hebert who came out on top, pinning his opponent to the ropes and landing powerful combinations. In the eighth round, the Bahian maintained his superiority and, inspired, dropped his guard Muhammad Ali-style. Despite landing the best strikes, he was warned by the referee for over-provocation.

The ninth round was stopped early due to a wet ring, but after the fight was cleared, the fight resumed. Hebert again dictated the pace with precise dodges, sharp jabs, and hooks to the waistline, demonstrating technical mastery.

In the tenth and final round, the Bahian fighter drew the crowd, kept his guard down, and continued to rely on dodges and counterattacks to counter his opponent's attacks. After ten rounds, Hebert Conceição's arm was raised by unanimous decision, confirming his victory.

Hebert Conceição shows respect and points out difficulties in the ring

In an interview while still in the ring, Hebert Conceição showed respect for his opponent, highlighted the difficulties he faced in the wet ring and revealed that he would have liked to have won by knockout, despite celebrating the positive result.

"I knew the fight was going to be tough. My opponent is very experienced, so I trained hard because that was the best way I could show him respect. I'm very happy to have won. I wish it had been a different way, the quick way, I believe it was possible, but I had some difficulties during the fight (the ring slipping)... But a fighter has to be prepared for any situation in the ring," declared Hebert Conceição.
