Ilia Topuria surprises and proposes an unusual bet for UFC Casa Branca

Ilia Topuria has no doubt that he will be the star of what promises to be the biggest show in Ultimate history. In recent months, MMA fans have been wondering who will occupy the position of 'main course' at UFC White House , an event scheduled for July 2026, in celebration of the independence of the United States. Announced by Dana White and Donald Trump as the biggest show ever seen by the organization, the card has attracted the interest of the company's biggest stars.

Despite the strong competition, Topuria demonstrates confidence that his spot is guaranteed. In a post on “X” (formerly Twitter), the Spaniard, who comes from a crushing victory over Charles Oliveira at UFC 317 , even made a bet with his fans:

“Who wants to bet with me that I’m in the main fight at the White House?” he wrote.

'Full house at the White House'

The White House, as the residence of the US president, is one of the safest places in the world. Even so, Dana White reaffirmed that he expects to welcome at least 5,000 people to the South Lawn with the Octagon—which will have a massive arch surrounding it—for the event itself. However, he assured that The Ellipse, a park south of the White House fence, will be able to accommodate 85,000 people for a viewing experience.

When will UFC Casa Branca take place?

Although there is still no official date for UFC Casa Branca , the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) plans to hold the event in July 2026, close to US Independence Day on July 4th. Names like Conor McGregor , Jon Jones , Kayla Harrison, and Amanda Nunes are speculated to be on the card.
