The main event features two combat sports veterans in a duel that has been capturing the attention of fans and media. After the departure of Vitor Belfort due to injury, Acelino Popó Freitas replaced the former UFC champion and will now face off against Wanderlei Silva. Despite a long career in MMA between the late 90s and the second half of the 2010s, Cachorro Louco will step into the ring to compete in boxing for the first time as a professional.

Even though both have vast experience, the Bahia native will face a notable physical disadvantage. Although they are the same age, Popó is shorter and naturally lighter than his rival, who built his career competing at over 80 kg.

The second bout of the night features a fight between two of Brazil's biggest names in boxing, with a hint of rivalry. Hebert Conceição, the 2020 Tokyo Olympic champion and current Brazilian super middleweight champion (up to 74 kg), faces off against Yamaguchi Falcão, who placed third at the 2012 London Olympics. In addition to the Bahian's title, the two are also competing for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) Latin American belt.

This won't be the first time Conceição has shared the ring with a family member. Yamaguchi is the older brother of Esquiva Falcão, whom Hebert fought and won by unanimous decision at the first Spaten Fight Night in June of last year after months of intense rivalry.
