Vitor Belfort is out of Spaten Fight Night 2, a show that takes place this Saturday (27), in São Paulo, but, as a combat sports fan, he will watch the fights. In the main duel of the night, Wanderlei Silva faces Acelino Popó in boxing. In fact, the former UFC champion surprised by revealing that, for this specific event, he will be rooting for his biggest rival.
Excited about the match, Belfort emphasized that this will be the first time he'll support the Mad Dog. It's worth noting that the Rio native was originally scheduled to face Wand, but he suffered a concussion during training and was replaced by Popó. Regardless, despite the support, the relationship between the veterans is likely to remain strained and full of provocations.
