The PFL confirmed this Wednesday (24) that Chris Cyborg and Renan “Problema” Ferreira will face off for the title in Lyon, France, on December 13. Cyborg will defend her featherweight title (up to 65,7 kg) against the undefeated Sara Collins in the co-main event, while Problema faces Vadim nemkov in the main fight for the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg).
Brazilian legend, Chris Cyborg returns to MMA after a three-fight stint in boxing, including two knockouts in March. His last MMA performance was a thrilling five-round decision victory against Larissa pacheco, when she won the PFL belt. Collins secured her title shot by submitting top contender Leah McCourt in less than a round in September 2024, and also has victories over Sinead Kavanagh and Pam Sorenson inside the Bellator cage.

Nemkov is seeking heavyweight gold after previously winning the Bellator light heavyweight belt. He has two wins since moving up a weight class, defeating Timothy Johnson and Bruno Cappelozza. On the other side, Renan Problem tries to recover after the defeat to Francis Ngannou last October. The Brazilian had won the 2024 PFL heavyweight tournament, securing a title shot, but was defeated by Ngannou's strikes in the first round.
In addition to the title fights, PFL Lyon will also feature the finals of the PFL Europe tournaments in the lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) and bantamweight (up to 61,2 kg) categories.
