Paulo Borrachinha chooses the most powerful fighter he has faced: 'He is in great shape'

One of the strongest fighters in activity, Paulo borrachinha recognizes that there are athletes who are equally impressive or even superior in terms of physical appearance. In fact, the Brazilian met a unique specimen in the octagon in 2019, in California (USA). And, precisely because he doesn't forget that experience, the Minas Gerais native chose Yoel romero as the most powerful professional he faced.

In an interview with Full Violence, Borrachinha mentioned the Cuban without hesitation, shocked by his physical form, despite being 48 years old, and still in action today. And it's no wonder, as Romero continues to destroy his opponents, delivering brutal knockouts in Dirty Boxing and Bare Knuckle. Having experienced the veteran's power firsthand, the Brazilian showed his respect.

Borrachinha faced Romero in the UFC in 2019, and the fight, one of the best of the season, became a classic due to its fierceness. In the cage, the athletes gave their all, exchanging provocations and powerful blows. At the end of the 15-minute bout, the Brazilian prevailed by unanimous decision, but part of the MMA community considered the Cuban the true deserving winner.
