Diego Lima fuels internet users' anxiety amid suspense over crucial decision regarding UFC Rio

Less than a month until UFC Rio, Charles of the Bronx is without an opponent for his long-awaited appearance in the Marvelous City, on October 11th. With departure from Raphael Fiziev, after the Kazakh claimed an injury in training, there is an expectation that a new rival will be found quickly for the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) to face.

Despite the suspense, Do Bronx further heightens the drama by claiming that many athletes who requested the opportunity to face him ultimately declined when questioned by officials. In a recent statement, the fighter expressed no enthusiasm for the fight. Mateusz gamrot and also Manuel Torres, which is not currently in the ranking.

Amidst numerous questions and anxiety from fans about who will be officially announced as the São Paulo native's opponent, Diego Lima posted a cryptic photo on his Instagram story, featuring the flags of the United Kingdom, Armenia, and Mexico, along with a thoughtful emoji. Even without mentioning anything related to UFC Rio, netizens began suggesting that the coach was dropping hints about his protégé's upcoming fight.

Names like Pimblett and Tsarukyan have not publicly commented on their potential desire to face Charles on October 11. Other fans have suggested that the Mexican flag may represent Manuel Torres. Despite the movement, the Bronx team or UFC have not yet officially declared anything about the duel.
