Next Saturday (1), his younger brother, Abubakar Nurmagomedov will have the chance to show the public that talent in martial arts runs in the family in the home of the Dagestanis in his debut at the event World Series of Fighting.

Abubakar, who competes in the welterweight category (with a weight limit of up to 77 kg), will face Jorge Moreno on the main card of WSOF 22, an event scheduled for the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas (USA), and which will feature two title fights involving Brazilians in the main fights: with Rousimar Toquinho defending the welterweight title against Jake Shields and compatriots Marlon moraes and Shaymon Moraes dueling for supremacy in the bantamweight division.

Just like his older brother, Abubakar Nurmagomedov would also have a perfect record in MMA, if it weren't for a medical interruption in the fight against Magomed Mustafaev at the end of last year, in which he suffered a deep cut in the first round. As a result, Abubakar had a professional record of nine victories, all of them by technical knockout or submission, and one defeat.
