The duel for the women's bantamweight belt between the champion Ronda Rousey and the undefeated Brazilian challenger Beth Pitbull will only take place next Saturday (1), but the winner of the confrontation already knows who will face her: the former Strikeforce champion Miesha Tate, who won Jessica Eye in the co-main fight of UFC on FOX 16, this Saturday night (25). The information was confirmed by President Dana White at the press conference after the event in Chicago (USA).

“Yes, Miesha is (the next to fight for the belt, with 100% certainty). Miesha is such an incredible person. She stands in front of you and gives everything she can. Because she was caught in that first round and she kept moving forward, landing the shots she had to land and doing what was necessary to win. And she did it again tonight. She rebuilt her way back to Ronda Rousey”, said the director, apparently already placing the blonde as the winner of the duel in Rio.
